TL;DR

Calchy is a free calculator site. We don't ask you to sign up. We don't store your calculator inputs. We use analytics to understand which calcs are useful and ads to keep the lights on. That's it.

What we collect

When you visit Calchy, we and our analytics/advertising partners may collect:

  • Standard request data (IP address, browser, referrer, pages visited)
  • Usage events (which calcs you use, how long you stay, device type)
  • Cookies and similar technologies, to keep basic preferences and measure traffic

We do notcollect: your name, email, phone, address, or any identifier you don't volunteer. The values you type into a calculator (weight, loan amount, tire size, etc.) stay in your browser — we don't upload or store them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns. GA4 sets cookies and may collect identifiers. You can opt out of Google Analytics via Google's opt-out add-on.

Advertising

Calchy displays ads to stay free. Our ad partners (including Google AdSense) may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your visits here and on other sites.

Under EU law (GDPR/ePrivacy) and UK law, non-essential cookies require consent. If you're in a region with those rules, you'll see a consent banner before personalized ads load.

Your rights

If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have rights over any personal data we might hold about you — access, correction, deletion, objection to processing. Since Calchy doesn't collect identifiable personal data directly, most of these requests are handled through Google's controls (linked above). You can always contact us if you have a specific concern.

Children

Calchy isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when.
